| What
are our aims:
What is our mission? And what are we doing to make it happen?
We feel that God has called us to focus on three main areas.
Our first aim is to tell others about Jesus, after all, he has done so much in our lives, its only natural that we would want to share His love with others.
So this year we are doing leaflet drops in our area to let people know about our friendly "reachout" services, as well as our monthly social events. We are also having door to door visitations in our local area, offering people a free copy of the Jesus story video.
The second area of mission is to show Jesus what He is worth to us, in a natural, honest way. We call this "Spirit led".
To this end we are allowing God the opportunity to speak to us in our services by making the music section flow more easily, and by giving the congregation the chance to openly praise God.
We also encourage each other to "worship" Christ in our daily lives.
The final area of our mission is to "build up" each other. That means that we encourage, pray and teach each other within the Church.
To find out how we are fulfilling this part of our mission why not come along on Sunday and see the warm welcome that you get. We are sure that you will meet lots of people who will confirm for you just how much of a help being part of LCF is.
